In recent years, there has been vivid discussions – in both the academic and policy worlds – on whether the introduction of a universal basic income could be the solution to current and coming societal challenges. In particular, concerns about evolving labour market conditions are key in these debates. This conference therefore aims to propose a technical economic reflection on the eventual implementation of a universal basic income, its complexities and its consequences, in order to contribute to current policy and academic discussions.
